Where can I learn more about mushrooms?Updated 2 years ago

We have a few recommendations!

First, you can check out our free online Academy HERE for courses on adaptogens, functional mushrooms, and more! We also have our online Magazine, where you can read articles about mushrooms and adaptogens, as well as find recipes and self-care tips!

Another recommendation is our favorite database for research and articles, PubMed. PubMed is an online search engine that comprises medical studies freely available to the public. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed.

On PubMed’s site, you will see a search bar at the top of the page where you can enter any specific name of the mushroom you are interested in learning more about. Most of the formal research on mushrooms uses the Latin name of the mushroom, so we've broken those down for you here:

Reishi – Ganoderma lucidum

Chaga – Inonotus obliquus

Lion’s Mane – Hericium erinaceus

Cordyceps – Cordyceps militaris

Maitake – Grifola frondosa

Shiitake – Lentinula edodes

Tremella – Tremella fuciformis

Turkey Tail – Trametes versicolor

Let's say you are curious about Reishi and immune function, simply type “Ganoderma lucidum immune” into the search bar and a list of articles, studies, and research papers will appear.

Have fun geeking out!
